27-28 серпня 2026 року в Києві відбулася зустріч учасників Європейського конкурсу найкращих молодих метрологів України 2024-2026 років.
Протягом останніх трьох років Конкурс об’єднав талановитих молодих фахівців, науковців і студентів із різних регіонів та установ України. Захід організовано за підтримки PTB у межах проєкту «Підтримка процесу вступу України до ЄС у сфері вільного руху товарів та інфраструктури якості».
Метою Конкурсу є підтримка професійного розвитку молодих спеціалістів, сприяння науково-технічному обміну та зміцнення спільноти майбутніх лідерів у сфері метрології та інфраструктури якості України.
Зустріч дала учасникам можливість обмінятися досвідом, розширити професійні контакти та обговорити перспективи подальшого розвитку.
Програма заходу передбачала зустрічі з представниками Департаменту технічного регулювання Міністерства економіки України та Національного агентства з акредитації України; відвідування ДП «УКРМЕТРТЕСТСТАНДАРТ» та його лабораторій; спільний семінар для учасників Конкурсу; обговорення актуальних тенденцій і професійних можливостей у сфері метрології; налагодження контактів та обмін досвідом з експертами і представниками партнерських установ.
28 серпня ДП «УКРМЕТРТЕСТСТАНДАРТ» приймав учасників Конкурсу. Молоді метрологи відвідали лабораторії підприємства, ознайомилися з його еталонною базою та напрямами діяльності.
У межах зустрічі Ю. В. Кузьменко, к.т.н., заступник генерального директора з метрології, оцінювання відповідності та наукової діяльності, представник в СIML від України представив сучасний стан метрології та інфраструктури якості в Україні, окреслив основні напрями їх подальшого розвитку та перспективи інтеграції України в європейську систему інфраструктури якості.
Сподіваємося, що ця зустріч стане для її учасників ще одним кроком до нових професійних можливостей, співпраці та подальшого розвитку. Бажаємо молодим метрологам натхнення, успіхів і вагомих професійних здобутків!

On 27-28 August 2026, a meeting of the participants of the European Competition for the Best Young Metrologists of Ukraine 2024-2026 was held in Kyiv.
Over the past three years, the Competition has brought together talented young professionals, researchers, and students from different regions and institutions across Ukraine. The event was organised with the support of PTB within the framework of the project “Supporting Ukraine’s EU Accession Process in the Field of Free Movement of Goods and Quality Infrastructure.”
The Competition aims to support the professional development of young specialists, promote scientific and technical exchange, and strengthen the community of future leaders in metrology and quality infrastructure in Ukraine.
The meeting provided participants with an opportunity to exchange experiences, expand their professional networks, and discuss prospects for further development.
The programme included meetings with representatives of the Technical Regulation Department of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and the National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine; a visit to SE “UKRMETRTESTSTANDART” and its laboratories; a joint seminar for the Competition participants; discussions on current trends and professional opportunities in metrology; and networking and exchange of experience with experts and representatives of partner institutions.
On 28 August, SE “UKRMETRTESTSTANDART” welcomed the Competition participants. The young metrologists visited the enterprise’s laboratories and learned about its measurement standards facilities and key areas of activity.
During the meeting, Yurii Kuzmenko, PhD, Deputy Director General for metrology, CIML Member for Ukraine, presented an overview of the current state of metrology and quality infrastructure in Ukraine, outlined the main directions for their further development, and discussed the prospects for Ukraine’s integration into the European quality infrastructure system.
We hope that this meeting will become another step towards new professional opportunities, cooperation, and further development for its participants. We wish the young metrologists inspiration, success, and significant professional achievements!
